Horror at Deep Space Reclamation Station 7 

This is a short horror experience in which the player navigates a darkened space station using a flashlight to find energy canisters and escape a roaming monster.  The game’s atmosphere is tense and immersive, requiring the player to manage fear, light resources and environmental awareness to survive.

This game has been designed and tested for Meta Quest 2 and Meta Quest 3 headsets. Other VR headsets may work but have not been tested for compatibility.

Controls:

- Left thumb stick on the oculus controller to move in the direction you are facing.

- The player physically turns their head or body to change facing direction.

- The index trigger toggles the flashlight boost mode for temporary increased illumination.

- The trigger buttons are pressed to pick up or drop items.

- Trigger buttons are used to input numbers on the keypad in the game.

Horror at Deep Space Reclamation Station 7  is a student project from a team of 16 second year students, developed over four weeks (4 weeks in total for programmers and designers, 2 weeks in total for artists) in 2025 at the Academy of Interactive Entertainment (Canberra and Online Campus, Australia).
